Well I must admit that I really challenged myself with this piece of lace because originally there is no torchon background in the middle: it’s a square which center is an empty square and that have to be made with 38 pairs of bobbins.
Just to complicate things, I filled the center so that I expanded the number of bobbins prohibitively…
This means that when the work was progressing, I found myself with bobbins all around the cookie pillow, bobbins that I had to stack like levels to make my movements and correctly tight the threads.
But well, I am happy to keep it up with the pace and to have achieved a beautiful result.
