I just bought new millinery irons which will permit me to shape flowers in one handling like in the high fashion workshops. They are cast in bronze (proof of quality unlike to those I have seen in aluminum, because they keep their heat longer). They are made like ancient ones but are made by a craftsman of today.
I just tried them on silk and I am rather satisfied of the result. They seem as good as the old ones, thinner i.e. lighter and taking less space.
