It’s the 1st of July 2016 that serious things started for me.
Morning program: visit of the Miroglio firm, Italian fabric firm near Alba, European leader of the textile market. We met at the Palazzo Birago to gather together all the participants and go!
We visited their office as well as their factory. We discovered their sublimation printing technique on fabric and on other materials (plastic, hard materials) with giant heat presses, seen how work ink printing machines, etc…
In the afternoon, we’ve been to the MRF Mirafiori (ex industrial zone Mirafiori-Fiat), Corso Settembrini 164 Torino, historical place that has been the witness of the car and design industry success in Turin. This place welcomes all the week local and international fashion players. Its metal and industrial style is perfect to highlight the designer’s and new talents creativity.
So we prepared the giant fashion show Unioncamere Piemonte – CCIAA Torino – Enterprise Europe Network gathering more than 30 Italian, European and international designers.
Here are some backstage photos and photos with other designers…
Small make-up retouch before the hostilities…
Pose in front of the wall of fame…
… and the photos of the catwalk show! I have been the last to showcase my work so that my models walked a 2nd time for the final.
Thanks to the cheering crowd.
Here is the video of my showcase.
