Workshop of silk artificial flower making

Workshop 1 – “A day, a flower” – Creating a silk rose
Ability and manual dexterity, patience, creativity
Presentation of the profession artificial flowers artist, traditional techniques and specific tools using documents and models.
Acquire rare professional technical skills, creating fabric flowers.
Specific program of the workshop
Understanding and cutting a rose pattern, learning the stiffening of a fabric, the painting of the different elements (petals and leaves, shaping the elements with different tools (curling with tweezers, using the ball tool), creating the heart of rose, flowering of the rose, final assembly of the rose with leaves.
Supplies to bring
A pair of small pointed scissors (type embroidery scissors shaped as a stork), an apron (optional).
The rest of the workshop supplies is provided by the workshop supervisor (flower pattern, fabric, paint, brushes, glues, iron wires, cotton, training tools and pliers, plexiglass plate, etc …)
Duration of the workshop
As its name say, one day, one flower 😉.

Price of the workshop
190 euros per person.
Participants and conditions of participation
The workshop must be fully paid by check or bank transfer before the beginning of the workshop, ie the day of the reservation maximum 15 days before.
Impossibility to cancel the workshop and reimbursement except in cases of absolute necessity (death of a loved one, accident, etc …)
For the workshop to take place, there must be a minimum of 2 participants. Otherwise, the internship will not take place.
The trainee keeps the flowers made as part of this workshop and his fashion accessory (brooch or headband as he chooses).
A workshop certificate is delivered at the end of the workshop on behalf of the trainee.
Places are limited to 4 participants.
