I noticed that I lacked an indispensable accessory to make my silk flowers.
The last flower that I have made had so much petals (multiplied by 2 to make the 2 assembled roses), petals that I have painted differently to give it more contrast, that I almost have it wrong several times.
Before, I was using a big tray, but it is not the ideal. The petals tend to mix.
I kept two wooden boxes (of strawberries, yummi) from this summer that I transformed into receptacles for my petals and leaves.
Some coats of red paint, the creation of letters-stencils painted in white on the top, some time and patience and you are set!
I also made a beige linen pillow for the bottoms of the boxes.
The advantages? I can cut two different flowers, paint my petals differently and separate them, gain space by superimpose the boxes, move them without mixing everything and I can also use them as displays for my flowers.
